Spent my afternoon with Shi Ning yesterday. Hung out at my favorite spot, Holland V's Starbucks, and we went there with the plan of hitting the books in preparation for our exams next week, BUT like all great plans, some procrastinating was done first. We talked for hours and hours, and thank god she made me laugh with all her quirky antics and crazy stories. Had a blast, and A LOT of catching up was done. So glad to be aware of what's going on in her hectic life! We even shared some advice with each other, hers being for me to be more courageous when asking girls out *slaps palm on forehead*. Towards the end, we reminisced of the days where we were uniform-clad with our prefect ties. Such a nice way to de-stress after taking my horrible Biostats test in the morning and receiving even more horrible results for my OCRM test! Well, no studying was done at all, but I went full on Plant Science mode today. And it was even nice having her accompany me on my smoke breaks, even though I insisted she didn't have to. Wherever I stood, smoke kept blowing in her way, and she kept laughing while trying to wave away the smell.
What has my life come to? Studying, studying, and more studying. I feel like at 18, my life is dead.
