It's kind of a funny story.

I watched this a couple weeks back and I was meaning to write about it, but I kept forgetting. And you might be wondering what movie this is, and let me tell you ALL about it! In a nutshell, it's based on the awfully well written & quirky novel It's Kind Of A Funny Story by Ned Vizzini. It's about a teenage boy (left), going through an unexplained sort of depression, that accumulates over time, till he comes to a point where he's about to kill himself. But, being the smart kid that he is, he checks himself into the 'loony bin' and yada yada yada. By far, one of my more favorite books. Plus, it's really nice to read something, have the story all imagined out in your head, and then to actually see how it plays out in a movie, with real people and everything. And yes, I literally fell in love with Emma Roberts after seeing this movie. Been a fan of hers for quite a while now, but I really loved her in this movie (or maybe her character, because I always loved Noelle ever since the time she played the answer-with-a-question game with Craig on their 'date'). And of course, there were some deviations, but not anything major.
