This is a year late, but I only saw this collection a few days ago, when browsing through Homme Times. I actually like Alexis Mabille's spring collection. It has a very relaxed feel to it. Like something you'd wear to a high social class event, but at the beach. In a way, it has a Grecian feel to it, what with the flower necklaces, gladiator sandals, and strands of weeds (or hay, who knows?) placed callously all over their heads. Okay, so I've never ever been a fan of sandals, slippers or any other sort of open-toe footwear paired with long bottom-wear. But I take that back. Absolutely loving these gladiator sandals, and I can't wait to get my own pair. I've seen them in a couple of shops, but the prices, ahhhh. Favorite looks: Daisy covered white suit, shiny metallic sleeveless top worn by Jeremy Young, and definitely the white poncho-esque sweater.
Anyways, I looked at Alexis' new fall 2011 collection that he debuted recently, and I give him props for the creativity, but I don't know, I'm not really feeling the patterns (red and black plaid) and the ridiculously high laced pants, which were sported in pretty much every single look.
