St. Jerome's Laneway Festival 2011.

It was something I've never experienced before. I mean, I've gone to Baybeats (twice), but this was different. Very very different. A good different of course. The way we freaked out about the rain at first, but said fuck it, and danced along to the music, while getting drenched more and more by the second (and let's not forget about the mud! SO MUCH MUD! There were a couple of guys that embraced the mud and went mudsliding. I swear, it was so tempting). That's whats so beautiful about music, well good music that is (and let me say, yesterday was filled with true musicians), how you literally forget about EVERYTHING that's been eating you up inside, and you just let the sweet sounds of dreamy voices take you away. Thank you guys (brother, Nicole & Joyce) for making it an unforgettable experience. Loved it!
Tickets!

Waiting for Joyce. Little did we know, our bottoms were in the process of becoming a total shitfest.
Jenny Lee Lindberg of Warpaint. Absolutely adore her, and her new short hairdo.

Will definitely give them another listen. Was so quick to judge prior to the concert, but seeing them live, oh my god it was amazing. Their stage presence, his oh-so-fly dance moves (pelvic thrusts include, *flashbacks to the Time Warp*). He really connected with the audience - throwing a drumstick & towel into the crowd. He even got off the stage and walked through the crowd, and I GOT TO TOUCH HIM OH MY GOD (in an appropriate manner of course!)
Yeasayer! ♥

The final act - The Temper Trap. We were so nervous that they weren't going to play Sweet Disposition, but alas, they did!
Things to take note of for future concerts: Wear shorts, wear a t-shirt and don't carry a bag unless it's a super tiny one.
